All About T Shirt Printing

Today, T shirt printing, like this, is not just about making something stylish and fashionable. It is also about making something that catches the eye, piques the attention and stands alone in the midst of all others as unique. Buying from famous clothing stores can only get you unremarkable, common clothes which put you at the risk of seeing (or being seen by) another person who has the same printed t shirt, blouse or jacket on a particularly irritating day. But with printed clothing, there is no chance of that happening. But how exactly can you print a shirt?

There are a lot of different ways to do t shirt printing and almost all of them are fairly easy tasks. One kind of t shirt printing is Screen Printing. This kind of printing is done by placing a mesh screen on top of a t shirt, inking it and pressing it onto the fabric of the shirt. The design is created by masking some parts of the screen mesh to fashion an outline of the desired design. After this, an automated screen printer lays the shirts through a conveyor belt for printing and finishing. This is can be used to make great screen-printed sweatshirts which are both fashionable and affordable.

Different T Shirt Printing Styles

A quick way of making a customized printed t shirt is by T shirt Transfer. This can be done by using a simple Transfer paper which can be bought in your local office supply store. You can print your desired t shirt design on a sheet of Transfer paper through a standard ink-jet printer. After printing the design, all that is left to do is to simply lay the transfer paper on the side of the shirt which you want the design to be printed on and iron it on. Of course, you have to remember that the image has to be “mirrored” for the image to be printed correctly on the Transfer paper. This is great for printed promotional clothing or printed work wear because it is cheap and easy to do so printing in great volumes would not be difficult.

Other styles of t shirt printing are embossing and embroidery. If, for example, you want your clothes to look fancy and stylish, then either embossing or embroidery is the one for you. Embossing is having this fancy “raised” look on the design of your shirt, as if the design is actually surging out of the fabric. This is done by using a special heating process which produces the “three dimensional” design on the fabric. Embroidery, on the other hand, is a more expensive process which uses accurate, high-speed sewing machines to print the designs onto the t shirts. Both these styles are great for printed hoodies and other clothing which you want stylized and customized. Now those are just some of many t shirt printing styles.
